Measuring Spaces for Zebra Mats
Calculating the number of Zebra Mats you'll need for your space is easy. Just measure the length and width of your space and multiply them together to calculate the square footage, then use this formula:
Total Sq. Ft. of Space --------------------------- 21.5
Round up to get the total number of Zebra Mats you will need.
Measuring Spaces for Roll Out Mats
Each Zebra Roll-Out Mat measures 10' x 5' (50 sq. ft.). To measure your space, take the length and width measurement of the room (multiply them to get the square footage) and use the formula below to calculate how many Roll-Out Mats you'll need:
Total Sq. Ft. of Space --------------------------- Divide by 50
Measuring Spaces for Puzzle Mats
Each Zebra Puzzle Mat measures 1 meter x 1 meter (39.375" x 39.375") or about 10.75 square feet. To measure your space, take the length and width measurement of the room (multiply them to get the square footage) and use the formula below to calculate how many Puzzle Mats you'll need:
Total Sq. Ft. of Space --------------------------- Divide by 10.75
Round up to get the total number of Zebra Puzzle Mats you will need.
Measuring Spaces for Wall Pads
Zebra Walls Pads are 6' or 4' high and 2' wide (custom sizes are available, as are corner, pole, and beam pads). To determine how many Wall Pads you'll need, measure the length of the wall and divide that by two, then round up. Use this formula:
Length of Wall Space --------------------------- 2
Extra tip: you can also cut mats to fit the exact dimensions of your space. This is especially handy if you have a unique space with lots of corners, nooks, etc. For directions on how to trim and cut Zebra Mats, follow this quick guide.
